    How wonderful to have come across, by chance as it happens, an Italian View. And how absolutely splendid are your images of a country which we simply adore.

    We are, living in Budapest, so very happily in relative proximity to Venice which we love, or at least those parts, such as Cannaregio with Tintoretto's own church and those amazing paintings, which are to a greater or lesser extent free of tourists. So, your pictures of this beautiful city are an especial delight.
